Sophomore (2025-26)
Perkins competed in every match for NU, including 13 smallbore and seven air rifle appearances, where she grabbed four total top-three finishes, including a first place finish in the smallbore on Nov. 22 against Ole Miss and Air Force with her career-best mark of 593. Her average of 586.5 in the smallbore earned her a second team All-American honor in the event. Perkins also owns the highest single-match air rifle score for a sophomore with her score of 598, tied with teammates Maddy Moyer and Grace Corbett. Perkins was named to the 2026 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team, and was named an Academic All-Big Ten Athlete.

Freshman (2024-25)
Alivia Perkins earned personal bests of 588 in the smallbore, 597 in the air rifle and 1,183 in the aggregate. She registered a first-place finish in the air rifle, one second-place finish in the smallbore, air rifle, and aggregate, two third-place finishes in the aggregate, three in the air rifle and one in the smallbore. Perkins was a CRCA Scholastic All-American and was named to the 2025 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

Before Nebraska
Perkins was a 2024 Indiana Junior Olympics Air Rifle and Smallbore silver medalist, along with a 2024 Indiana State Rifle and Pistol Association 3P Air and Smallbore gold medalist and Air Rifle silver medalist. She set the new state record in 3P air, taking down the mark that she had previously set in 2023. 

In 2023, Perkins was the Women’s U18 Junior Olympic Smallbore gold medalist, and won gold in the smallbore and bronze in the air rifle at the Indiana Junior Olympics. She was a smallbore and 3P air gold medalist, along with an air rifle bronze medalist for the Indiana State Rifle and Pistol Association. Perkins competed at the 2023 Junior World Championships as a member of the USA Shooting Futures National Team, which placed third in the 50m smallbore.

Perkins also competed in the Indiana Junior Olympics in 2022, earning first in the air rifle and third in the smallbore. She was a Indiana State Rifle and Pistol Association air rifle and smallbore silver medalist. In 2021, she placed third in the smallbore at the Indiana Junior Olympics.

Personal
The daughter of David and Sarah Perkins, Alivia is a nutrition and health sciences major at Nebraska. In her spare time, she volunteers for The X Count to share her passion for rifle.

My shooting career won’t last forever, but my education will and I can see that Nebraska strives to set their athletes and students up for a lifetime of success. During my visits, I was thoroughly impressed by the programs and opportunities the University provides to help students achieve their goals. The ladies on the team are outstanding and were so warm and welcoming that I immediately felt like part of the family. I really fell in love with Lincoln and the UNL campus. As soon as I stepped on campus it felt like home, and I knew this is where I belonged.”
