Sophomore (2025-26)
In her second season with Nebraska, Maddy Moyer competed in every match for the Huskers en route to posting averages of 586.79 and 593.40 in the smallbore and air rifle respectively. Moyer’s strong smallbore performances once again earned her an All-American honorable mention in the event. Her average also puts her as the program leader for a smallbore average by a sophomore. Moyer’s season high air rifle score of 598 tied her with two other members of her class (Alivia Perkins & Grace Corbett) as program record holders of the highest single-match air rifle score by a sophomore. Off the range, Moyer was named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team and earned a first-team Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Award. She was also named to both the Academic All-Big Ten and CRCA Academic All-American teams, in addition to becoming a member of the CSC Academic All-District At Large Team.

Freshman (2024-25)
Maddy Moyer earned one first-place finish in the air rifle and the aggregate, four second-place finishes in the smallbore and two in the aggregate, along with two third-place smallbore finishes, a third-place air rifle finish, and a third-place aggregate finish during the 2024-25 season. She shot career bests of 591 in the smallbore, 597 in the air rifle and 1,186 in the aggregate. Moyer was a CRCA Smallbore Honorable Mention All-American and qualified as an individual in the smallbore for the NCAA Championships.

Before Nebraska
Moyer placed fifth at state in her sophomore year and second in her junior year at Lumpkin County High School. She made the Georgia All-State team for two years and had the highest season average in the region and second-highest in the state. She no longer shoots for a high school team. At the 2023 Dixie Doubles Tournament, she placed third in the junior division in air rifle and 14th overall in the same event.

Personal
Moyer is a management major at Nebraska.
