In her second season with the Big Red, Abby Vacek played in four games and saw 26 minutes of action.

High School
Vacek, a Lincoln Pius X graduate, scored 32 goals, 12 assists and was a two-time academic all-state honoree and two-time all-state honorable mention during her high school career. Vacek was also named to the all-conference, academic all-state and all-Nebraska teams her senior year, while leading the Thunderbolts to the 2022 state quarterfinals. A three-time math student of the year and member of the gold honor roll, she also participated on her high school's cross country team.
Other Information
On the club side, Vacek played for Gil Beccera at Hawks FC and Jose Varga at Omaha United and helped her Omaha United team to a state championship in 2021. Throughout her club career, Vacek scored seven state tournament goals and was named to the Nebraska State Tournament Best XI in the Fall of 2019.
Personal Information
Abby is the daughter of Craig and Kim Vacek and was born on Nov. 11, 2003. She has three sisters, Kate, Maggie and Clare, and three brothers, Joe, Will and Ben. Abby is majoring in biology.
