2013 (Freshman)
Natalie Muench (pronounced Mench) redshirted her first season at Nebraska as the Huskers won a pair of Big Ten Championships.

High School
Natalie Muench (pronounced Mench) joins the Huskers after four prep seasons under Coach John Soderholm at Burnsville High School in Burnsville, Minn.

Muench is the first Minnesota native to join the Huskers since Dayton, Minn., native Brooke Bredenberg finished her senior season in 2004.

A team-captain for the Blaze in 2012, Muench earned first-team all-state honors and was a South Suburban All-Conference selection for the second straight season. Muench helped the Blaze to a runner-up finish at the 2011 Class AA state tournament, the program's first state appearance in 15 years.

Along with earning three letters in soccer, Muench also earned a letter as a member of the badminton team.

Other Information
During the club season, Muench played for the Dakota Rev under Tobbe Morsell. Muech was part of the team that finished second at the 2012 Minnesota State Cup and was an elite finalist at the Schwan's USA Cup Weekend. The team also was the 2012 champions of the West Coast Final 4 Showcase.

Personal Information
Natalie is the daughter of Kathy Muench. She was born on Nov. 15, 1995. She has two sisters, Theresa and Tina. Natalie plans to major in business administration at Nebraska.
