Sami Reinhard joined Nebraska Athletics as the Director of Operations of Husker Soccer in July of 2024. Reinhard is responsible for managing communication with recruits, media and student-athletes on administrative matters. She oversees detailed practice setups and handles all team travel arrangements. Reinhard's role includes organizing team meals, events, budget management and recruiting logistics. She supervises student managers, coordinates practice facilities, manages media and social media content and oversees ID camps. Additionally, Reinhard handles equipment orders and serves as a liaison with compliance and academics on admissions and eligibility, ensuring seamless support for the student-athletes.
Prior to Nebraska, Reinhard served as a graduate assistant coach at Hartpury University in England. She supported the women's soccer coaching staff in developing training sessions, analyzing game footage and preparing for matches. Reinhard was responsible for assisting in practice setups, coordinating travel arrangements and managing equipment. While pursuing her master's degree in sport management, she also contributed to recruiting efforts, organized team events and facilitated communication between players and coaches.
Reinhard received her master's degree in sport management from Hartpury University (England). She earned her bachelor's degree in advertising and public relations from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2018 and was a four-year student-athlete for the Husker soccer program (2014-18). A native of California, Reinhard earned the Sam Foltz 27 Hero Leadership Award (2018) and was a four-year member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
