Personal
Abby is the daughter of Eric and Charlene Hughes and was born on Sept. 5, 1988, in Olathe, Kan. ... has one sister, Ashley, 21 ... has not declared a major ... favorite food is chicken ... best thing about her teammates is how well everyone gets along ... the one thing she can’t live without is her family.
Coach Revelle on Hughes
"Abby is an athletic and intelligent player who adds a lot of speed and quickness to our roster. Abby has the ability to play several different positions on our team as her athletic versatility is a real strength. Abby had a great fall campaign for the Huskers...look for her to carry that into her game this spring."
