Senior Season (2024)

• Was unable to play as a senior following offseason knee surgery

Junior Season (2023)

• Made seven starts as the designated player 
• Recorded three hits including a double in the series sweep over Indiana 

Sophomore Season (2022) 

• Made seven starts at first base
• Appeared as a pinch hitter in the game against Iowa 
• Recorded one hit against UT Arlington 

Freshman Season (2021)

• Appeared in two games as a pinch hitter
• Made her debut as a pinch hitter in game two of the Purdue series
• Also pinch hit in game three of the Iowa series

Before Nebraska

• Was a four-year varsity player for the Woodlands High School
• Finished her career with a .276 batting average through 112 games
• Recorded 59 runs, 69 hits, 49 RBIs, 16 doubles, three triples and nine home runs in her four-year career
• Earned all-district honors as a junior in 2019
• Helped the Highlanders to back-to-back district titles as a freshman and a sophomore
•  Played travel ball with Scrap Yard International
• Coached by Todd Leach, Lisa Norris and Connie May

• Born on June 8, 2001
• Is the daughter of Craig and Stephanie Newlun
• Has two brothers, Logan and Garrett 
• Is a life-long Husker fan as her father Craig was born and raised in Aurora, Neb., and graduated from UNL
• Majoring in child, youth and family studies
