- Named Co-Big Ten Player of the Week after tallying four home runs and 10 RBI at the Troy Cox Classic
- Added four hits and one RBI in the three-game series at Kansas
- Hit a homer in the win against South Dakota State
- Had five hits and two RBI in the home opening weekend against South Dakota State and Wichita State
- Tallied six hits, three doubles and four RBIs at the Cal State Fullerton/Long Beach State Tournament

- At the time of her injury, led the Huskers with five multi-hit games and ranked second on the team with 13 hits and four doubles
- Went 2-for-4 with an RBI in the win vs. Michigan State
- Recorded her first career hit, run and RBI in the win
- Went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs in the win over No. 23 Michigan
- Fouled off four 0-2 pitches before delivering the walk-off two-out, two-run single with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning
- Went 4-for-6 with a pair of doubles in the final two games against Purdue
- Went 3-for-3 with a double in the series finale against the Boilermakers
- Was 7-for-12 with three doubles, a homer, six runs scored and five RBIs in the Penn State series
- Went 2-for-3 with two runs and her first career home run in game one
- Was 3-for-6 with two doubles, three RBIs and two runs the next day in a doubleheader
- Went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs and an RBI in the series finale before exiting the game in the seventh inning with an injury

Before Nebraska
- Played four seasons for Sabino High School in Tucson, Ariz.
- Hit .503 and slugged .884, with 153 hits, 153 runs, 87 RBIs, 36 doubles, 16 triples and 16 homers in her prep career
- Hit a career-best .550 as a senior through 11 games before the season ended early due to the Coronavirus pandemic
- Also slugged .825 and had 15 runs, 22 hits, 13 RBIs, 6 doubles, one triple and one homer in 2020
- Helped her team claim the Arizona 3A State title as a junior
- Batted .494 and slugged .949 with 39 hits, seven home runs and 24 RBIs in 2019
- Was a first-team all-conference and all-region honoree and was named to the Southern Arizona All-Star team as a junior
- Was a second-team all-conference honoree and a first-team all-region pick in 2018
- Batted .458, with an on-base percentage of .527 as a sophomore
- Named a first-team all-region and all-conference honoree as a freshman
- Was named the 3A Region Player of the Year, the 3A Offensive Player of the Year and the Conference Defensive Player of the Year as a freshman
- Was also named to the Southern Arizona all-freshman team
- Played travel ball for the Arizona Desert Thunder, the same club team as former Husker Mattie Fowler and fellow Husker Caitlynn Neal
- Was coached by Kelly Fowler, Kenzie Fowler Quinn and Larry Neal
- Kenzie Fowler Quinn was a former NFCA All-American for Arizona

- Born on April 6, 2002
- Is the daughter of Lori Gray, Kory Gray and stepmother Lara Scott
- Has one sister Carly, who played softball at Regis University (Colo.) and one step-sister, Greta Abend
- Sydney’s mother Lori is from Omaha and graduated from Burke High School
- Majoring in finance
