Marcia LaCroix serves as an associate athletic trainer at Nebraska. She returned to the Nebraska Athletic Department in September of 2021 as an assistant athletic trainer before earning her promotion to associate athletic trainer in 2023. LaCroix previously was an athletic trainer at Nebraska from September 2014 to 2019.
LaCroix works with Nebraska's softball team and is a clinical preceptor for the department's student athletic training program.
After leaving Nebraska, LaCroix was an athletic trainer at Oregon State. She worked with Beaver women's track and field program and the women's soccer team. Prior to coming to Nebraska in 2014, LaCroix was an assistant athletic trainer at Marist, where she worked with the women's soccer, men's lacrosse and women's water polo teams.

While working on her master's in sport science and pedagogy at Gardner-Webb, LaCroix worked with the softball team and cheerleading squad. She earned her master's degree in 2013.
LaCroix earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training and minored in exercise science and Spanish at Nebraska Wesleyan. She graduated in 2011 and was a member of the Prairie Wolves' softball team.
