Before Nebraska
A talented diver from the state of Washington, Addy Farman will hope to make an impact on an experienced Husker diving squad as a true freshman in 2025-26.
At the 2024 USA Diving Junior Region 10 Championships, Farman totaled 351.30 on the one-meter board, after putting up a 358.70 at the Region 9 Championships in 2023. On the three-meter dive, Farman earned a score of 330.90 at the 2024 USA Diving Zone E Championships after totaling 359.50 at the 2023 USA Diving Junior 9 Region Championships.
Farman was a two-time champion on the one-meter board for Glacier Peak High School at the Washington Class 4A state meet, including a 407.40 as a senior in November of 2024. She dominated the competition as a junior as well with a 403.40 to win by more than 60 points over the runner-up as a junior in 2023. She helped Glacier Peak to top-eight team finishes as both a junior (7th) and senior (8th). Farman was the state runner-up in the one-meter competition as a sophomore in 2022, after finishing 14th as a freshman in the fall of 2021. She was a three-time district champion, and a one-time district runner-up. She earned All-America honors in 2023. She was first-team All-Washington in both 2023 and 2024, while capturing first-team Wesco All-Conference honors three times during her high school career. She was also a second-team All-Wesco selection as a freshman in 2021. Farman was a competitive gymnast until age 12, when she made the switch to diving.
Personal
The daughter of Brian and Jamie Farman, Addy was born March 21, 2007 in Bellevue, Wash. She has one older sister, Bryanna. Addy plans to major in sports media and communications at Nebraska. She chose Nebraska because of the overall environment of campus, coaches, the team and the academic support that is offered.
