Sophomore (2025-26)
Notching three personal bests in the 2025-26 season, Jazmyn Lunn benefited the Huskers as a strong butterfly competitor. 

At the Hawkeye Invitational in mid-November, Lunn used her time of 4:54.21 in the 500 free prelims as momentum to carry to an 11th-place finish in the finals. Her time of 4:51.24 represents a drop of 2.97 from the prelims to the finals. For the last home dual, Lunn swam a 5:01.28 against Rutgers for a sixth-place finish. 

At the Big Ten Championships, Lunn earned two personal bests in the 100 and 200 fly. In the 200 fly finals, Lunn earned a 20th-place C finish with a time of 1:58.83. In the 100 fly, a 54.26 in the time trials boosted her to her best time, after her prelim swim of 54.32. 

She consistently produced top-five finishes throughout the season, with 14 in total, eight of which in the 200 fly. She captured three second-places in duals against South Dakota State and Omaha (2:06.58), Iowa State (2:05.83) and Illinois and Iowa (2:05.18). Impressively, the Iowa Invite gave her a third-place spot in the prelims (2:00.77) and fourth in the finals (2:00.36).

Freshman (2024-25)
Lunn excelled in the butterfly and freestyle events in 2024-25, while also making valuable contributions to the Husker relays. She opened her Nebraska career in a double-dual against Minnesota and South Dakota, finishing sixth in the 100 fly (59.77), while adding an eighth-place effort in the 200 freestyle (1:57.50). She also swam legs in the 200 medley relay and the 400 free relay. 

The freshman from Brookings, S.D., captured seven top-10 finishes and a career best in duals against Omaha and Iowa/Rutgers. Most notably, she logged a career best in the 50 free (25.95), third place in the 500 free (5:21.23) and two seventh-place finishes in the 100 (56.20) and 200 fly (2:04.64). In the relays, she helped capture fourth-place in the 200 medley relay (1:49.44) against Omaha. In the dual against Iowa and Rutgers, she swam in the 200 free relay (1:36.77), placing fifth. She also competed in the 400 medley (3:49.97) and the 400 free relay (3:33.61).  

Lunn closed her freshman campaign at the Big Ten Championships by recording three career bests in the 100 fly (54.43), 200 fly (2:00.80) and the 500 free (4:55.92) event prelims.

Before Nebraska
A two-time state champion with the Sioux Falls Swim Team, Lunn was the top-ranked prospect in the state of South Dakota for the class of 2024. She earned 87 individual state titles, 13 overall high point state titles and currently holds nine state records, including five individual records and four relay records. At the 2024 State A Championship Meet, Lunn took six first-place finishes and set career-bests in the 50 freestyle (24.37) and the 100 IM (59.64).

Personal
The daughter of Cory and Melanie Lunn, Jazmyn Lunn was born on March 6, 2006. She has one brother, Tyson and one sister, Tafney. A graphic design major, Jazmyn has earned three spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. She was also a member of the 2025 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
