Sophomore (2024-25)
Schmucker delivered consistent performances during the dual meet against the Iowa State Cyclones (Oct. 25), earning two seventh-place finishes in the one-meter (238.28) and three-meter (248.93) dives.

Schmucker added a seventh-place finish in the one-meter board (249.98) at the dual against the Iowa Hawkeyes (Oct. 18).

Jordyn Schmucker began her second season with the Huskers with a 223.75 on the one-meter board in a double-dual with No. 24 Minnesota and South Dakota at the Devaney Natatorium (Oct. 4). The sophomore added a 197.15 on the three-meter dive against the Golden Gophers and Coyotes.

Freshman (2023-24)
Schmucker opened her Husker career at a double-dual with Minnesota and South Dakota on Oct. 13. She notched a 216.35 on the one meter and a 211.80 on the three meter. She set career bests in both events against South Dakota State, posting a 253.43 on the one meter and 268.20 on the three meter.

Before Nebraska
Schmucker was a four-time MSHSL State participant and placed second in 2022. A two-time All-State and four-time all-conference honoree. Schmucker was a two-time Section 1AA one-meter diving champion and a two-time Section 1AA Diver of the Year. Schmucker holds her school and pool record at Farmington High School in Minnesota.

Personal
The daughter of Andrew and Stephanie Schmucker, Jordyn is from Farmington, Minn., and was born Jan. 15, 2005. She has two siblings, Ben and Kamryn. Jordyn is majoring in nutrition and health sciences and earned spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters of 2023-24. She was named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2024 for her commitment to service in the Lincoln community. In her free time, she enjoys weight lifting.

“I chose Nebraska because the school has a very diverse and strong nutrition, exercise, and health science program to support my areas of educational interest,” Schmucker said. “From an athletic standpoint, it has always been my dream to attend a highly competitive Division I school.”
