Clairmont returned to the NCAA Championships in the platform in 2024, posting a 242.70 to place 20th. She accumulated 18 zone-qualifying scores throughout the season and added 15 top-five finishes during her sophomore campaign. Marzullo coached four divers to the Zone D Diving Championships with Abbt Baxter and Antonina Harned both competing on the one- and three-meter, Frankie Webb competing on three-meter and Clairmont taking on three-meter and platform. At the Big Ten Championships, Baxter qualified for the one-meter final and finished 12th with a 263.05.
In his second season with the Cornhuskers, Marzullo coached diver, Clairmont, to a NCAA Championship qualification on the platform. Clairmont notched a 34th-place finish with a score of 214.00 as a freshman. She finished the season with five first-place finishes and 17 top-five finishes. Along with Clairmont, junior, Reagan Hinze also qualified for the NCAA Zone Championships on the one meter and three meter.

In his first season at Nebraska, Marzullo coached all three of his divers to the Zones qualifications, where Sara Troyer earned a spot in the three-meter finals and placed 18th. Troyer collected 11 victories on the 2021-22 season, managed a top-25 three-meter finish at Winter Nationals and notched a 13th-place one-meter finish at the 2022 Big Ten Championships. Hallie Roman finished right behind Troyer on one-meter at conference to score more team points with a 14th-place finish. Both Roman and Hinze saw career-best dives throughout the year and recorded numerous top-five finishes.
Marzullo led the men’s and women’s divers at Wisconsin in 2019-20 and went to Madison after building strong men’s and women’s diving programs in three seasons at UNLV. He coached Rebel divers to three individual conference titles in his three seasons in Las Vegas, and helped his divers set five school records. In 2019, he was named the WAC Coach of the Year after leading freshman Tazman Abramowicz WAC titles on the three-meter and platform events. Abramowicz also became the first Rebel men’s diver to qualify for the NCAA Diving Championships in more than 30 years. In 2018, he coached the first Rebel women’s diver (Myka Fielding) to the NCAA Championships for the first time in more than 20 seasons. Marzullo was also the head coach of the Rebel Diving Club from 2015 to 2019.

Marzullo got his first taste of collegiate coaching as a volunteer assistant at Ohio State in 2012-13. He left OSU to work as a high diver for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines from 2013 to 2015, performing multiple times per day on the three-meter, 10-meter and 17-meter platforms.
Marzullo, who was the Big Ten Diver of the Year at Indiana as a freshman in 2008, spent his first two collegiate seasons with the Hoosiers. He was also the Big Ten Freshman of the Year and the 2008 Big Ten Diver of the Championships after winning conference titles on the one-meter and three-meter springboards and adding a fourth-place finish on platform. He also took fourth on the platform at the 2008 NCAA Championships to claim first-team All-America honors for the first time in his career, while adding top-16 national finishes on both the one and three meter boards. Marzullo took fifth on platform for the Hoosiers at the 2009 NCAA Championships.
He transferred to Florida State following his sophomore season in Bloomington. He was an All-ACC Diver for the Seminoles in both 2010 and 2011. As a senior, he was the runner-up in all three diving events at the ACC Championships, before taking seventh on the three-meter board at the NCAA Championships to claim first-team All-America honors. He closed his career as a 10-time All-American overall, including four first-team All-America awards. He was also named to the 2011 World University Games Diving Team, earning his best finish (4th) on the three-meter synchronized event. He earned his bachelor’s degree in criminology from FSU in May of 2012.
Prior to his collegiate career, Marzullo was a six-time junior national champion and captured gold on platform at the 2005 Pan Am Junior Championships. He was a five-time U.S. National Team choice, and he twice qualified for the U.S. Olympic Diving Team Trials. He also finished second on the one-meter board at the 2011 U.S. National Championships.
Landon and his wife, Jennifer, have a daughter, Mia.
