Ryanne Klabunde

Ryanne Klabunde enters her first year as the director of operations for the Nebraska swimming and diving program in 2024-25. She joined the Nebraska staff in September of 2024, after spending nearly three years as a volleyball operations graduate assistant at Minnesota State-Mankato from August of 2021 through May of 2024.

During her time at Minnesota State-Mankato, Klabunde earned a master’s degree in sport management in 2024, after completing her master’s degree in sport, exercise and performance psychology in 2023.

In the summer of 2023, Klabunde served as an all-sports event operations intern for the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

Klabunde was a three-sport athlete in high school, competing in volleyball, basketball and softball before graduating from Blue Earth Area High School in Minnesota in 2017. She served as a softball coach for the Blue Earth Girls Fastpitch Association from 2019 through 2022 and remained involved as a board member for the association through March of 2023 before taking on her summer role in Florida with the AAU.

She attended Missouri State as an undergraduate, graduating cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in December of 2020.
