Indoor: Threw for a mark of 17.86m (58-7 ¼) at his first collegiate meet to earn a fourth place finish in the men’s shot put competition at the Husker Holiday Open…Finished fourth in men’s shot put at the Graduate Classic with a mark of 16.92m (55-6 ¼)...Awarded first place in men’s shot put at the Prairie Wolf Invitational for a mark of 16.84m (55-3)…Placed fourth in men’s shot put at the Mark Colligan Memorial with a mark of 16.92m (55-6 ¼).

Before Nebraska
Attended Stanton Community Schools in Nebraska...set high school bests of 65-4 3/4 (19.93m) in the shot put and 189-3 (57.68m) in the discus...won the Nebaska Class C state title in the shot put and discus, and set a Class C state record and state meet record in the shot put...was a two-time discus medalist and four-time shot put medalist at the state meet.
