Indoor: At his first-career NCAA Championships was the highest-performing freshman pole vaulter, finishing 11th (5.46m, 17-11) and garnering second team all-american honors…Earned silver at the Big Ten Championship and All-Freshman team honors, finishing second in the pole vault and clearing 5.45m (17-10 ½)...Holds the second-highest pole vault mark in school history, clearing 5.55m (18-2 ½) at the Tyson Invitational to finish fifth…Cleared 5.53m (18-1 ¾) at the Mark Colligan Memorial, 5.55m (18-2 ½) at the Frank Sevigne Invitational and 17-4 ¼ (5.29m) at the Husker Holiday Open to claim the event titles…Placed second at the Graduate Classic (5.14m, 16-10 ¼).
Outdoor: Cleared a career best 5.55m (18-2 ½) in pole vault, moving up to third all-time in school history and earning third at the Desert Heat Classic…Placed seventh in the pole vault at the Big Ten Championships, clearing 5.29m (17-4 ¼)...Earned a pair of top-five finishes in the pole vault, clearing 5.27m (17-3 ½) at the Michael Johnson Invitational for fourth and 5.33m (17-5 ¾) at the 44 Farms Invitational for fifth…Placed 15th in the pole vault (5.17m, 16-11 ½) to finish 15th at the NCAA West Prelims.
