Indoor: Tabbed an eighth-place finish in the men’s shot put competition at Big Ten Championships with a mark of 18.81m (61-8 ½)...Secured a first-place finish in the Graduate Classic men’s shot put competition with a mark of 18.45m (60-6 ½)...Claimed first in men’s shot put at the Mark Colligan Memorial with a mark of 18.11m (59-5)...Opened his collegiate career with a second-place at the Husker Holiday Open in the men’s shot put competition with a mark of 18.46m (60-6 ¾)...Threw 17.99m (59-0 ¼) to place sixth in the men’s shot put competition at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational.

Outdoor: Claimed first in the men's shot put competition with a mark of 19.23m (63-1 1/4) at the Hurricane Collegiate Invitational...Placed second with a personal best throw of 19.78m (64-10 3/4) at the Spec Towns Invitational...Finished third in shot put with a mark of 19.75m (64-9 3/4) at the Big Red Classic.
