2024 (Freshman)
Isabel Sikon was an immediate contributor for the Huskers, competing in every meet for the Big Red on beam and 10-of-13 on vault. She earned season-highs of 9.875 on each event. Sikon grabbed an event title on vault against Penn State and one on beam against North Carolina, Southeast Missouri State and Illinois State.

The San Antonio, Texas, native posted a 100% hit rate through all of her routines.

Before Nebraska
Isabel Sikon joins the Huskers after training at Mavericks Gymnastics under coaches Steve Arkell and Gaby Avilez-ArkellSikon is a three-time Level 10 national qualifier and a 2020 European Championship selectee. She was a finalist at the 2019 Youth Olympic Games in the all-around. She also competed at the Polish Junior Nationals, claiming the beam title and finishing second in the all-around. 

Personal
The daughter of Marcin and Elizabeth Sikon, Isabel was born on September 20, 2004. She has two sisters, Mariah and Abigail, and both do gymnastics as well. Isabel graduated from Texas Connections Academy at Houston and plans on majoring in advertising and public relations at Nebraska. 

Isabel chose Nebraska because “of the amazing support system and culture within the gymnastics program. Heather (Brink) and Brian (Amato) have never failed to make me feel welcomed and appreciated. The morals and values that the university and gymnastics program hold was the icing on the cake.”
