2012-13 (Senior)
Regular Season
Tyler Koehn moved down to 165 pounds for his senior season and went 4-4, which included a 1-3 dual mark. In November, he tied for first at the Warren Williamson/Daktronics Open by winning four matches, three of which were major decisions. He earned another major decision over Maryland's Anthony Guidice at the Grapple at the Garden on Dec. 16. 

His final four matches were losses, two of which came from NCAA finalists David Taylor of Penn State and Kyle Dake of Cornell.

2011-12 (Junior)
NCAA Championships
In his first NCAA Championships appearance, Koehn won his first match against N.C. State's Quinton Godley by a 3-2 decision at 174 pounds. However, Koehn suffered back-to-back shutout losses to Stanford's Nick Amuchastegui and Pittsburgh's Ethan Headlee to end his season.

Big Ten Championships
Koehn opened the Big Ten Championships with a tiebreaker loss to Indiana's Ryan Leblanc, 2-1. In the loser's bracket, Koehn fell in back-to-back matches to Illinois' Jordan Blanton and Wisconsin's Frank Cousins.

Regular Season
Koehn won six of his first seven matches in his first season at 174 pounds, placing second at the Nebraska-Kearney Holiday Inn Open. Over the course of the season, he defeated three top-15 opponents and went on to close with a 20-13 record. Koehn went 5-4 in Big Ten duals, including a four-match conference winning streak.

Koehn earned his only pin of the season in the last match before the Big Ten Championships, downing Northern Iowa's Onni Prestidge at 2:36. Koehn went 13-5 in dual matches on the year. In addition, he earned a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll for his work in the classroom during the 2012 spring semester.

2010-11 (Sophomore)
Big 12 Championships
Koehn went 0-2 at the Big 12 Championships after dropping two competitive decisions to Iowa State's Trent Weatherman and Oklahoma's Chase Nelson.

Koehn opened the tournament with a 3-2 loss to Weatherman, before falling out of the tournament with a 4-1 setback to Nelson.

Regular Season
Koehn finished the season with a 7-9 overall record, while going 5-8 in dual matches for the Huskers. The Kansas native accumulated 21 dual points for NU at the 157-pound spot in the lineup and recorded two pins.

After three straight losses to open the season, Koehn picked up his first victory against Nick Flynn of South Dakota State by an 8-3 decision. Koehn's most impressive victory of the year came with a pin against No. 20 Corey Mock of North Carolina.

2009-10 (Redshirt Freshman)
Big 12 Championships
Despite entering the tournament as the fifth seed, Koehn won his first-round match over Patrick Wright of Missouri by an 11-2 major decision. Looking for a spot in the finals, the redshirt freshman fell short of an upset in a 4-1 loss to No. 12 Shane Vernon of Oklahoma. In the third-place match, Koehn nearly posted a victory over No. 19 Andrew Sorenson of Iowa State, but dropped a narrow 2-1 decision.

Regular Season
Koehn began the season in open tournament action at 165 pounds and claimed top-five finishes at the Harold Nichols Open, Kaufman-Brand Open and Fort Hays State Open. During that stretch, he compiled a 13-6 record.

After 157-pound starter Jordan Burroughs went down with a season-ending injury in mid-December, Koehn cut weight over winter break and returned as the 157-pound starter in the Jan. 3 double dual against North Dakota State and North Carolina State. Koehn earned a win over the Wolfpack's Colton Palmer, 2-0 and remained the starter the rest of the season. Although the transition was tough, Koehn won his second and final dual match of the season with a 10-3 decision over Rocco DePaolo of Northern Colorado.

Koehn finished the regular season with a 15-15 overall record. He had one pin and one major decision victory.

2008-09 (Redshirt)
Regular Season
Koehn racked up four pins and five major decisions en route to a 20-8 record during his redshirt season. He placed at three open tournaments, including winning two titles.

Koehn went 4-2 at the Harold Nichols Open on Nov. 15, before going 5-0 to win the amateur division at the Kaufman-Brand Open on Nov. 22. Koehn combined for a 5-5 mark at the Fort Hays State and UNK Loper opens in early December, before winning his second tournament with a 4-0 record at the Dana Open on Jan. 3. Koehn finished with a 2-2 showing at the Brand Open on Jan. 17.

Before Nebraska
Koehn finished in the top three at the Kansas state tournament his final three seasons for Coach Scott Rieck and Pittsburg High School. A four-time state qualifier, Koehn did not place his freshman year at 119 pounds, but earned third as a sophomore with a 41-2 record at 135. He collected 26 pins his junior year while rolling to a perfect 38-0 record and a state championship at 152 pounds. He capped his high school career with a second-place finish at 171 pounds after a 34-3 season. Koehn finished with a 147-15 career record and was a three-time all-area pick and a four-time all-conference selection.

Koehn was a five-time All-American at the Junior National Championships in Fargo, N.D. He claimed fifth in Greco-Roman and seventh in freestyle at 140 pounds in 2006. He moved up to 160 in 2007 to claim eighth in freestyle, before earning fourth in Greco-Roman and seventh in freestyle in 2008.

Koehn also spent all four years on the honor roll at Pittsburg High School.

Personal
The son of Dan and Cheryl Koehn, Tyler was born on June 13, 1990. He has two brothers, Derek and Brent, and one sister, Cori. Tyler earned his bachelor's degree from Nebraska in May of 2013 as a business administration major. He claimed spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the spring semesters of 2012 and 2013. A first-team academic All-Big 12 pick in 2011, Koehn also earned two spots on the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.
