Brandon Bradley

The Nebraska wrestling team has added Brandon Bradley as Director of Operations heading into the 2024-25 season. Bradley joins the Huskers after spending the past 14 years as a wrestling coach, with the last nine as the head wrestling coach at Nebraska Wesleyan University. Involved in the wrestling world for over 20 years and being a two-time program starter, Bradley now brings his operations experience to the Big Red.

“We welcome Brandon and his family as they join our Nebraska Wrestling program,” Head Coach Mark Manning said. “Brandon did a great job at Nebraska Wesleyan the last nine years, and that experience coupled with Brandon’s work ethic make him a tremendous fit for our program.”

Bradley relaunched the Prairie Wolves wrestling program in the Fall of 2015 and has coached an NCAA All-American and four Academic All-Americans. Prior to Wesleyan, Bradley served as the head assistant coach for two seasons with Ferrum College. At Ferrum, he assisted in starting the college’s new DIII wrestling program, and coached one national qualifier.

“I am excited for the opportunity to work with the team and join a national power program with so much history and success,” Bradley said. “As a former wrestler and coach myself, I look forward to doing my part to help the program move forward and excel in every way that I can.”

A 149-pound four-year starter at University of North Carolina at Pembroke, Bradley went on to begin his coaching career as an assistant coach at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2010. In three seasons, UWW accomplished a third-place finish at the 2013 NCAA DIII Tournament, with six wrestlers earning All-America honors.

Originally from Richmond, Virginia, Bradley earned his bachelor’s degree from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke in Exercise and Sport Science in 2010 and his master’s degree in Health, Human Performance and Recreation from The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2013. Brandon and his wife Shavon Bradley live in Lincoln.
