Alex Harris returned to Nebraska as the Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Fan Experience in September of 2021. Harris previously served as assistant director of marketing and fan experience at Nebraska from August of 2017 to September of 2019.
After leaving Nebraska in 2019, Harris was an associate director of marketing at Oklahoma. Harris also served at Kansas State, TCU and West Virginia.
Harris is originally from Abilene, Kan., and earned a bachelor's degree in business marketing from Kansas State as well as a master's degree in educational leadership from TCU.
Harris and his wife Karina, have a daughter, Kenlee, and a dog, Griffey.
