Andrea Klug joined the Nebraska Athletic Department in a full-time role in 2009, and currently serves as a full-time learning specialist.
She works directly with the Husker football team.
Prior to her current position, Klug was an assistant academic counselor at Nebraska from 2006 to 2008. In the 2008-09 academic year, she served as a learning specialist and coordinator of the mentoring program in the Athletic Academic Support unit at Florida State.
A native of Lorraine, Kan., Klug earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Fort Hays State in 2005. She continued her education at Nebraska, earning a master’s degree in educational administration in 2007.
Andrea has a daughter, Elliana Kay, and two sons, Rhett and Reid.
