Brandon Yoder

Brandon Yoder joined Nebraska Athletics in January of 2024 as the Associate Director for Athletic Medicine. His responsibilities include overseeing the athletic medicine staff. 

Prior to the Huskers, Yoder spent 10 years at Marquette University, and he was most recently named the Assistant Athletics Director of Sports Medicine in August of 2022. 

Yoder oversaw the day-to-day operations of the sports medicine department while serving as the primary athletic trainer for men's basketball and men's golf during his time at Marquette.

Yoder arrived in Milwaukee after serving for nine years as an assistant athletic trainer at Kansas State, including the last five as the primary trainer for the men's basketball team. In addition to his duties as men's basketball athletic trainer, he also coordinated all sports medicine activities for the Basketball Training Facility.

Yoder joined the men's basketball staff at K-State after spending three years with the Wildcat baseball and women's equestrian teams. The baseball team earned its first bid to the NCAA Tournament in his final season in 2009. Prior to this stint, he spent the 2006 spring season as the primary athletic trainer with the track and field program. Before coming to Kansas State, Yoder worked at the University of Cincinnati covering Bearcat football and baseball for one year.

Prior to Cincinnati, he received his master’s degree in liberal arts from Southern Methodist University. While a graduate assistant at SMU, Yoder was the primary care provider for both the men's and women's tennis teams, while assisting with the Mustangs' football team for two years under NATA Hall of Fame member Cash Birdwell.

Yoder earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in athletic training and a second in physical education from Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa, in 2003. While attending Graceland, he was a four-year letter winner for the Yellowjacket baseball team.

He and his wife, Kelly, have four children, three daughters, Peyton, Kamryn, Brooklyn, and one son, Bryant.
