Brynn Johnson is in her first season as an assistant athletic trainer working with the Husker football program in 2024.
Johnson served as a seasonal athletic trainer with the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs for the 2023-24 season. The previous year, Johnson worked as a seasonal intern athletic trainer with the Detroit Lions.
She served as an athletic trainer at Harvard in 2021-22, working with men's and women's water polo. In 2020-21, Johnson worked as a certified athletic trainer for Marlin ISD, providing athletic medicine care, injury prevention and rehabilitation for middle and high school students. She had a stint with the Los Angeles Rams as a summer intern (2019).
Johnson earned her master's degree in athletic training from Baylor in 2020, serving as a graduate assistant with the football and acro and tumbling teams. Johnson earned her bachelor's degree in exercise science from Florida Atlantic in 2017, where she was a student intern with the athletic training department for FAU football.
Brynn has one dog, Maverick.
