Carley Damme joined Nebraska Athletics as an Event Operations Specialist in January 2026. In her role, Damme oversees game operations and event management for swimming and diving, as well as men’s and women’s tennis. She also assists with volleyball, football, and other events within the University of Nebraska Athletic Department, and contributes to the bid process and management of postseason conference and NCAA Championships.
Prior to joining the Huskers, Damme served as a Graduate Assistant in Student-Athlete Success and Support from August 2025 to December 2025. In that role, she coordinated the student-athlete tutor program and assisted student-athletes in maintaining academic eligibility and success. During the summer of 2025, she worked as a Community Engagement Intern for the College World Series of Omaha, Inc., where she gained event management experience by overseeing the volunteer program for the FanFest area.
Damme also gained experience in athletic communications as a Communications Intern at Creighton University Athletics from January 2025 to May 2025. Her responsibilities included completing the baseball media guide and assisting with gameday communications such as statistics, recaps, and setup. From August 2021 to December 2024, Damme served as an Event Operations and Ticketing Intern at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where she worked all sporting events from setup to teardown, managed student practicum workers, supervised ticket takers and sellers, sold and renewed season tickets, and produced a monthly newsletter.
Damme earned her bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, with minors in Business Administration and International Studies.
