Davey LaCroix joined the Nebraska Athletic Department as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in November of 2022. LaCroix previously worked at Nebraska for two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the Husker baseball program in 2013-14.
LaCroix joins the Huskers after working the last two years as a clinic athletic trainer at Nebraska Orthopedic Center.
Prior to the Nebraska Orthopedic Center, LaCroix spent time as an athletic assistant trainer for the Oregon State baseball program in 2019-21.
LaCroix also served as an MiLB athletic trainer with the Minnesota Twins (2017-19) and Cincinnati Reds (2015-17).
LaCroix earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training at Concordia University Wisconsin, before receiving this master’s degree in education from Nebraska. He and his wife, Marcia, reside in Lincoln.
