Elysa Wesolek is in her first season as a Nebraska football performance nutrition fellow in 2024.
Wesolek graduated from the University of North Florida with her master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics. While earning her degree, Wesolek was on the women’s basketball team and was a nutrition graduate assistant. Wesolek started seven games and had seven double-digit scoring performances in her lone season at UNF.
Prior to North Florida, Wesolek played in 71 games over four seasons at South Carolina. She helped the Gamecocks win two SEC regular-season titles and two SEC Tournament championships in her four seasons. South Carolina made two Final Fours in Wesolek's career, culminating with a national championship in her final season. Wesolek earned her bachelor's degree in public health from South Carolina in 2022.
