Jake Miceli enters his first season on Nebraska’s Performance Nutrition Team. He will spend the 2024-25 season as an RD Fellow, working directly with the student-athletes and coaches on the men’s golf team and the women’s swimming and diving team.
Miceli comes to Nebraska from Illinois State, where he served as a sports nutrition intern for the Redbirds. He also gained experience as a clinical intern at Carle Hospital in Peoria/Pekin, Ill., and as a food service intern at Unit 5 School District in Bloomington/Normal, Ill.
He previously served as a performance nutrition volunteer during the summer of 2021 at Northwestern University.
A registered dietitian, Miceli earned his bachelor’s degree in food, nutrition and dietetics from Illinois State in 2022. He earned his master’s degree in food, nutrition and dietetics from Illinois State in 2023.
