Jane Farrell

After serving as the athletic department's human resources coordinator Jane Farrell was promoted to athletics human resources director in July of 2019 and to her current role of Assistant Athletic Director for Human Resources in April of 2023.

Farrell is responsible for the oversight of employment compensation, benefits and employee relations. She also serves as a resource to units and applicants regarding recruitment procedures for managerial/professional and support staff personnel.

Farrell began her association with Nebraska as a secretary in the women’s basketball office in 1999.

Farrell earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Nebraska in 1981. A native of David City, Neb., Farrell and her husband, John, have a son, Brian, and daughter, Kiley.
