Jessica Coody

Jessica Coody serves Nebraska Athletics and the Huskers Radio Network as an announcer, host and producer. Coody joined the Huskers in July of 2021 after spending nine seasons with the University of Oklahoma Athletics department where she served as a sideline/digital reporter, television/radio host, play-by-play announcer and feature producer.

Coody began calling play-by-play for OU women's basketball in 2017 and in December of 2020, became the first woman ever to call play-by-play for Oklahoma men's basketball.  She launched and hosted a podcast featuring women's athletics at OU and served as a regular contributor to the Sooner Sports Podcast.  Outside of her work at OU, Coody has worked for TNT covering the 2016 Final Four and worked with Fox Sports as a sideline reporter covering Big 12 Championships.  Prior to that, Coody worked in local news in Midland, Texas and Oklahoma City.
