Julian Pino, Psy.D, PLP, is in his first year at Nebraska as an Athletic Psychologist joining the staff in August of 2024.
Dr. Pino works with several Husker programs, including men’s baseball, tennis, golf, wrestling, track and field, and cross-country. In his role, he provides mental health and sport performance services to student-athletes as well as consultation and outreach services to student-athletes, coaches, and athletic staff. Dr. Pino also serves as the staff liaison to the Black Student Athlete Association.
Prior to joining Nebraska Athletics, Dr. Pino completed his post-doctoral fellowship at Brighter Life Therapy, PLLC, a private practice in the Boston area working with student athletes and the general population. He received his Psy.D, in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University in September of 2023.
Dr. Pino played collegiate baseball at Nova Southeastern University, where he was a National Champion in 2016.
Julian received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Nova Southeastern in 2016 and currently resides in Lincoln, Neb.
