Kara Timmons joined Nebraska Athletics in July of 2026 as the assistant director of ticketing. Timmons oversees ticket operations for soccer, wrestling and softball.
Prior to the Huskers, Timmons served Sam Houston State as the assistant director of ticket operations from August 2024 until July 2026 where she oversaw the ticket operations for soccer, volleyball, men's basketball and baseball.
Timmons worked as a ticketing intern at the University of Maryland and was the ticket liaison for volleyball and women's lacrosse prior to her time at Sam Houston State.
Timmons, a native of Hagerstown, Maryland, graduated from the University of Northwestern Ohio in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in sport marketing and management.
