Martin Oteng is in his second season as Nebraska in 2024. He serves as the director of video technology for football after serving as assistant director in his first season in 2023. Oteng is a member of the College Sports Video Association.
In his role, Oteng leads all aspects of the planning and execution of the football program’s video and technology needs. His duties include the filming and editing of all practices and games with the XOS Thunder System, which allows the coaches and players to view any play or sequence at the click of a button from any computer, tablet or smart phone.
Oteng came to Nebraska after serving as the football video coordinator at Tulsa for the 2022 season. Prior to Tulsa, Oteng spent four seasons as a media specialist for the Stephen F. Austin football program while he was an undergraduate student. He also spent the 2018 season as a video coordinator and media specialist at Texas A&M-Commerce.
Oteng earned his bachelor’s degree in radio and television with a minor in film making from Stephen F. Austin in 2021.
