Melanie Gentrup

Melanie Gentrup joined the Nebraska Athletic Department as an Assistant Live Events Producer in July of 2022.

In her role, Gentrup oversees the in-venue productions of soccer, volleyball, women's basketball, men's gymnastics, wrestling, baseball, swim & dive and assists with the in-venue production of football.

She previously worked with HuskerVision as a student worker from 2019-22, where she assisted all in-venue productions and created content for a variety of Husker programs.

A native of Waterbury, Neb., Gentrup will complete her bachelor's degree in journalism from Nebraska in 2023.
