Michelle Lindhart joined Nebraska Athletics as an assistant academic counselor in June 2025. In this role, Lindhart works alongside both learning specialists and academic counselors, taking on the roles of advising and mentorship of student-athletes, managing daily operations of the tutor program, and assisting with other duties as assigned by the department.
With a background in juvenile justice and education, Lindhart has provided students with academic and behavioral support through her previous roles as a Behavior Technician/Student Advocate for Lincoln Public Schools’ Student Support Program, an Education Specialist with CEDARS Youth Services, a Truancy Officer for Lancaster Juvenile Probation, and a RISE Specialist (i.e. Recognizing Increased Skills in Education) for AmeriCorps.
A native of Williamsburg, Iowa, Lindhart graduated from Central College in Pella, Iowa with a degree in Psychology and Spanish in 2020 and is actively pursuing a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
