Mitzi Lenz

Mitzi Lenz joined the Nebraska athletic department staff in January of 2013 as the executive assistant to the administrative office. She was promoted to executive specialist in July of 2018 and provided executive level administrative support to the athletic director. In July of 2019 Lenz took on a new role of support in Nebraska's capital planning and construction department. In April of 2024, Lenz was named the executive assitant to the athletic director.

Before joining the Nebraska athletic department staff, Lenz spent nearly two years as an administrative technician in the UNL Communications Office after working for Lincoln Public Schools for nine years.

Lenz in originally from Hyannis, Neb., and majored in art at Nebraska before obtaining her real state license in 1998.
Mitzi and her husband, Peter, have one daughter, Erin, and one son, Tyler.
