Nate Pohlen

Nate Pohlen joined the Nebraska Athletic Communications staff in September of 2014. He is the primary media contact for the Husker volleyball and beach volleyball programs. 

Pohlen came to Nebraska from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he spent four years as the contact for women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, softball and men’s tennis. He also spent one season with the Omaha Nighthawks of the United Football League.

Pohlen graduated from Nebraska in May 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in news-editorial. He was a student assistant in the Nebraska communications office for three years, working with the men’s golf and rifle teams.

Nate and his wife, Toni, have four children: Rose, Giovanni, Abigail and Luke.
