Paige Potratz was named Assistant Communications Director in August of 2025, after joining the department as a student in August of 2021.
Potratz currently serves as the primary communications contact for the softball program, handling all of the communications during the Huskers Women’s College World Series run in 2025. She serves as the secondary contact for men’s basketball and a tertiary contact for football, helping with press box operations and overseeing credentials. During her time at NU, she has served as a contact for several sports, including soccer, women's gymnastics, rifle and men’s and women’s cross country programs.
Potratz earned her undergraduate degrees in both sports media and communications and journalism from Nebraska in 2024 and her master’s degree in integrated media communications from UNL in 2026. She and her husband, Jacob, reside in Lincoln.
