Patrick Kelly

Patrick Kelly joined the Nebraska Athletic Department in 2012 as a guest relation/security attendant.
 
Kelly transitioned to the compliance staff in 2014, first as a compliance assistant before he was promoted to assistant director of compliance in 2019, working in that role until 2025.
 
Kelly served as a liaison to local, state and federal law enforcement agencies and several university departments involving student code of conduct, disciplinary and legal matters. 
 
Kelly also monitored athletic department facilities while providing a safe environment for Nebraska student-athletes and athletic department staff.    
 
Kelly is a retired Detective from the City of New York Police Department. He was born and raised in Chester, N.Y., and attended Florida Atlantic University prior to joining the NYPD.
 
In 2005, Patrick married Kerri Fowlkes, a native of Newman Grove, Neb. The couple resides in rural Roca, Neb.
