Rob Rodriguez is a physical therapist and board certified sports clinical specialist (SCS) who currently serves as Director of Olympic Sports rehabilitation. Throughout the course of his career Rob has continued to grow as a practitioner by immersing himself in high level interdisciplinary environments.
In 2018 he completed a sports physical therapy residency program at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. The following year he became the inaugural D1 sports physical therapy fellow at the University of Minnesota, where he spent the year with the University’s men and women's ice hockey programs.
The following year Rob worked at Training HAUS, a high performance and rehabilitation center operated by Twin Cities Orthopedics in Eagan, MN. During his time at Training HAUS, he practiced within Dr. Robert LaPrade's complex knee rehabilitation team and also specialized in treating high school, collegiate and professional ice hockey players.
From 2020 to late 2024, Rob continued his pursuit of growth in the South Bay of Los Angeles where he worked at Meyer Institute of Sport in El Segundo, CA. In this position he served a diverse clinic population and also held a role as physical therapist with the Los Angeles Kings (NHL) and their affiliate, the Ontario Reign (AHL). His role with the teams included assisting with time loss and post-surgical rehabilitation, day to day maintenance, and athlete injury reduction efforts.
Rob is a graduate of the University of Iowa, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Physiology in 2011. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of St. Augustine (San Marcos, CA) in 2014.
Rob and his wife, Nikki have two children; a son, Frankie and a beautiful black labrador retriever, Sage.
