Russ Brown

Russ Brown joined Nebraska Athletics and the Huskers Radio Network in August of 2023 as the director of broadcast operations after working with the Georgia Southern Radio Network for over 14 seasons as a producer. 

Brown started his broadcasting career more two decades ago in his hometown of Milledgeville, Ga., where he manned the airwavs of WMVG and WKZR. After attending school in Charlotte, N.C., and working for Raycom Sports, Brown returned to the Peach State in 2006 to wrok as the Program Director for ESPN 105.5 the Fan where he co-hosted and produced "The Afternoon Sports Drive". 

Brown resides in Lincoln with his wife, Lindsey, and son, Ole.
