Taylor Richards is in his first season as a football recruiting assistant at Nebraska in 2024.
Richards came to Nebraska after working as an assistant football coach for two years at Valdosta State(defensive backs) and one season at Colorado Mesa (cornerbacks). He also served as a defensive graduate assistant at Oregon State for three seasons and was a member of the football player development staff at Rutgers during the 2017 season. Richards began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Virginia Union in 2016.
Richards played at Purdue, where he started 38 games at safety, recording 168 career tackles. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Purdue in 2016 and his master’s degree in education in 2021 from Oregon State.
