Vicki Capazo

Vicki Capazo serves as communications administrative support associate and is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the office and supervision of student staff. Capazo, who began her association with the University in 1978, is also responsible for media credential requests and distribution of credentials, while also serving as the media host at Nebraska football and men's basketball events.

Capazo also handles the distribution of all office publications to the media and public. Among her other duties are football game day assignments, budget and payroll.

Vicki and her husband Gary reside in Omaha. She has a son, Erik Cartwright and a daughter, Sara Cartwright. Erik and his wife, Candy, have two sons, Colin and Miles. Vicki also has three stepchildren, Jayme, Noah and Nick Capazo.
