Warren May is in his second season as Nebraska's director of football creative media in 2024. In addition to Nebraska, May has also worked at Power Conference programs Mississippi State and Auburn.
May came to Nebraska after spending the 2022 season as the director of football content and strategy at Mississippi State. He supervised a staff of eight, and his work helped the Bulldogs sign a top-25 national recruiting class in 2023. Previously, May worked in the football recruiting and creative department at Auburn in 2021. With May's help, the Tigers landed a top-20 signing class in 2022.
Prior to his time in the SEC, May spent six months as the director of social media for Austin Peay in 2021. In his role, he was the content creator and social media manager for the football program, helping the Governors sign one of the top three classes in the FCS. May went to Austin Peay after serving as the director of player personnel at Mercer for the 2019 season.
May got his start at Troy, his alma mater. He was promoted to recruiting and operations analyst in 2018 after serving as a student assistant in recruiting and operations during the 2016 and 2017 seasons. May earned his bachelor's degree in sport and fitness administration/management from Troy in 2017.
