Nebraska owns the richest College Sports Communicators Academic All-America history in the nation across all teams and all sports. The Huskers have produced an NCAA Division I-leading 351 all-time academic All-Americans. In the Big Ten Conference, no other school comes within 100 of the number of Huskers honored in Academic All-America history.
The Nebraska women's basketball program has played a major part in the Huskers' rich College Sports Communicators Academic All-America tradition, including NU's first female member of the prestigious College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Hall of Fame, Karen Jennings.
