Senior (1995-96)
Michelle Patterson closed an outstanding Nebraska golf career by competing in all 34 rounds for the Huskers as a senior, while leading NU to its third consecutive NCAA West Regional appearance.

A four-year letterwinner and three-time NCAA regional competitor, Patterson ranked third among the Huskers with an 81.18 stroke average over 34 rounds as a senior. She produced a pair of top-10 individual finishes as a senior, including a season-best tie for sixth (241) at the Marilynn Smith/Sunflower Invitational. She added a tie for ninth with a season-best 228 (76-76-76) at the Diet Coke/Roadrunner Invitational.

Patterson opened the season with a tie for 15th (240) at the Chip-N Club Invitational, before tying for 21st (234) at the Northwest Women's Collegiate. She struggled early during the spring season before rebounding with a tie for 27th (237) at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational, March 26-28. She added a tie for 17th (237) at the Utah-Dixie Classic, April 8-9, before tying for 17th (248) to help the Huskers to a tie for third at the Big Eight Championships.

In her final competition as a Husker, Patterson tied for 89th (255) at the NCAA West Regional meet at The Champions Club Golf Course in Omaha, Neb., May 9-11.

She capped her collegiate career as a three-time academic All-Big Eight selection.

Junior (1994-95)
Patterson continued to make strides by lowering her season stroke by nearly two full strokes from her sophomore campaign. She played in all 34 competitive rounds and matched Heidi Wall for the team lead with a 78.76 stroke average on the year.

Patterson helped the Huskers to their second straight NCAA West Regional appearance where she fired rounds of 76-80-76 to finish at 232 in a tie for 57th place individually while helping NU to a 12th-place team finish. Patterson led NU's charge into regionals by tying for fifth place at the Big Eight Championships with a three-round total of 243. She helped the Huskers to a third-place team finish at the conference tournament, while posting Nebraska's top tournament score for the fourth time during the season.

Heading into the Big Eight Tournament, Patterson posted the top tournament score of her career with a three-round total of 227 (75-77-75) to tie for runner-up honors at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational. She added another top-10 finish during the spring with a tie for 10th at the weather-shortened Utah-Dixie Classic. During the fall campaign, Patterson tied for fourth (234) to help NU to a team title at the Husker Golf Classic, after opening the fall season with a tie for 10th (241) at the Gopher Invitational. She added a tie for 12th (237) at the Memphis Intercollegiate and a tie for 15th (235) at the Diet Coke/Roadrunner Invitational.

Off the course, Patterson captured the second academic All-Big Eight award of her career.

Sophomore (1993-94)
Patterson continued to show impressive gains on the course, dropping her season stroke average by more than four strokes per round from her redshirt freshman campaign. She played in 28 rounds for the Huskers and notched an 80.68 stroke average on the year. She took third at the Midwest Golf Classic with rounds of 79 and 77. She added a career-best round of 74 at the 1993 Husker Classic to claim a sixth-place individual finish.

Patterson helped the Huskers to a fourth-place team finish at the Big Eight Championships to earn their first-ever NCAA Regional appearance. At the 1994 NCAA West Regional, Patterson managed a three-round score of 243, as NU finished 16th among the 19 teams at the regional.

Off the course, she excelled in the classroom to earn her first academic All-Big Eight award of her career.

Redshirt Freshman (1992-93)
Patterson earned a lineup spot after redshirting during her true freshman season. She competed in 26 rounds and managed an 84.70 stroke average on the season. She posted a season-best tournament score of 244 and a season-best round of 80. She earned her best individual tournament finish by tying for 21st at the Lady Buckeye Fall Invitational.

Freshman (1991-92)
One of top female athletes in the Nebraska high school ranks, Patterson redshirted during her freshman season at Nebraska.

High School/Amateur
The only player in Nebraska women's golf history to never compete in a single round of high school golf, Patterson was a multi-sport standout and Loomis High School. She competed in basketball, volleyball and track and field at Loomis High School. She closed her high school career with 1,486 points scored in basketball. She won the Lincoln city women's championship in 1995 and participated in the 1995 U.S. Women's Amateur.

Personal
The daughter of William and Pamela Patterson, Michelle was born Oct. 6, 1972. She was an elementary and special education major at Nebraska and was a three-time academic All-Big Eight selection. She was also a member of the 1993 Big Eight academic honor roll.
